Selecting fewer bars concentrates multiplier potential — 1 bar on Expert gives the highest ceiling but the lowest coverage across the 30-bar grid.
Stake's $500,000 per-round cap applies regardless of multiplier. Selecting more bars reduces the max multiplier per bar but increases the probability of at least one high-value result — a meaningful trade-off between ceiling and consistency.
How Stake Bars Works
Bars is played on a 5×6 grid containing 30 gold bars. Before betting, you choose how many bars to select — between 1 and 5. You can either manually pick which bars you want, or let the game auto-select them for you.
Your selected bars remain locked in position. When you hit the Bet button, all 30 multipliers on the grid are revealed at once — you see every bar's value simultaneously, including the ones you didn't select. Your payout comes from the multipliers on the bars you chose.
The payout structure adjusts based on how many bars you selected: fewer bars = higher potential multipliers per selected bar. More bars = broader coverage with more moderate individual multipliers. Four volatility levels — Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert — further tune the distribution.

Bars Strategies
Fewer Bars for Max Win Potential
Selecting 1 bar on Expert volatility gives the highest per-bar multiplier potential. If your goal is hitting the 3,000× max win, fewer bars at higher volatility is the path — at the cost of very frequent low-payout rounds.
More Bars for Consistency
Selecting 4–5 bars on Easy or Medium volatility distributes your bet across more selections, producing more consistent returns per round. Good for VIP grinding and rakeback sessions.
Auto-Select for Unbiased Coverage
Use the auto-select feature rather than manually picking bars. There's no advantage to choosing specific bar positions — all positions have equal probability. Auto-select removes false pattern-seeking from your decision-making.
Flat Betting and Session Limits
Keep each Bars bet at 1–2% of session bankroll. Set a stop-loss at -30% and a profit target at +50% of session budget. The reveal of all 30 multipliers at once is visually engaging — pre-committed limits prevent impulsive over-betting.
