How Stake Hilo Works

A card is revealed from a standard 52-card deck. You predict whether the next card will be Higher or Lower in value. Each correct guess multiplies your running multiplier. You can cash out after any successful guess.

You can also Skip any card at no cost — this discards it and reveals the next card without a guess. Skip is especially valuable for mid-range cards where Higher/Lower probabilities are close to equal.

Optional Suit prediction lets you guess the suit of the next card for a 4× multiplier boost on that step — a 25% win chance side bet.

Best Hilo Strategies

Always Skip 50/50 Cards

7s and cards near the middle of the range create near-even odds for Higher or Lower. The Skip feature costs nothing — use it freely on ambiguous cards to avoid guessing on low-probability situations.

Play Confirmed Streaks

When you draw a 2, the next card must be Higher — that's a near-certainty. When you draw an Ace (14), the next must be Lower. Chain 4–5 of these confirmed-direction cards before cashing out for strong compounded multipliers.

Cash Out After 5–7 Cards

Each correct guess compounds your multiplier. After 5–7 successful guesses, the accumulated multiplier is significant. Cashing out here protects your profit. Pushing for 10+ guesses creates substantial bust risk even on favourable cards.

Track Edge Cards vs Middle Cards

Low cards (2–4) nearly guarantee Higher; High cards (Jack–Ace) nearly guarantee Lower. Middle cards (6–8) are the most dangerous. Build your streak on edge cards and use Skip on middle ones.

Suit Prediction for Bonus Multipliers

After each card, you can optionally predict the suit of the next card for an additional multiplier boost. This is a 25% win chance. Only take suit predictions when your base multiplier is already satisfying — it's a high-risk bonus, not a core strategy.

Deck Composition is Provably Fair

The card sequence is generated from a cryptographic seed before the game begins. You can verify the full sequence was predetermined — the dealer cannot influence which cards appear mid-game.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Holding past a profitable multiplier because 'the next card is likely safe' — this is not a guaranteed edge

Not planning a cash-out target before the round starts — in-round decisions are driven by emotion

Treating card probabilities as if they reset between hands — each round uses a fresh deck

Continuing rounds after a lucky streak instead of resetting with flat bet size

Skipping provably fair verification — always check contested round outcomes with the seed system
