Responsible Gambling
Gambling should always be a form of entertainment — never a source of income or financial pressure. Stake.com provides tools and resources to help you stay in control.
Important Notice
Gambling involves risk. The house always has a statistical edge, and over time, the majority of players will lose money. Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose.
If you feel gambling is affecting your finances, relationships, work, or mental health — please use the tools below and seek help immediately. Gambling addiction is a recognised medical condition and effective treatment is available.
This site is for adults aged 18 and over only.
Responsible Gambling Tools at Stake
Deposit Limits
Set daily, weekly or monthly deposit caps on your account. Once set, limits take effect immediately. Increases require a cooling-off period before they apply.
Loss Limits
Cap how much you can lose in a given period. If your net losses reach the limit, further play is paused until the period resets.
Session Time Limits
Set maximum session lengths. When your time is up, Stake will remind you to take a break or log out automatically.
Cooling-Off Period
Take a mandatory break of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During this time, you cannot gamble or change the restriction.
Self-Exclusion
Permanently or temporarily suspend your account. Self-exclusion is the most serious tool and suitable if you feel you have a problem. Contact support to activate.
Reality Checks
Enable pop-up reminders at set intervals to show how long you've been playing and your net result during that session.
To access these tools, go to your Stake account settings and navigate to the Responsible Gambling section.
